Ø
In partnership with the
Mississauga News, MREB organizes the
Ann

Also presented at this event is MREB’s own Ronald Sanderson Award,
given to a Board Member who has volunteered extensively in the
community, while maintaining a successful real estate career.
Ø
MREB’s
Ann
ual Golf Tournament, held each July,
supports The Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Peel. The Board also
encourages Members to participate in this organization’s
‘In-School’ mentoring programme.
Ø
The Board is currently
involved in a 3 year commitment to Interim Place, a shelter for
battered women and their children. MREB is dedicated to raising
$10,000.00 to sponsor a children’s study lounge. Currently,
children staying at Interim Place do their homework at the kitchen
tables, not a situation conducive to good study habits.
