Ø      In partnership with the Mississauga News, MREB organizes the Ann ual Civic Reception, held in May. This popular event honours the Citizen of the Year, the Firefighter of the Year, the Police Officer of the Year. Also presented at this event is MREB’s own Ronald Sanderson Award, given to a Board Member who has volunteered extensively in the community, while maintaining a successful real estate career.
 

Ø      MREB’s Ann ual Golf Tournament, held each July, supports The Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Peel. The Board also encourages Members to participate in this organization’s ‘In-School’ mentoring programme.
 

Ø      The Board is currently involved in a 3 year commitment to Interim Place, a shelter for battered women and their children. MREB is dedicated to raising $10,000.00 to sponsor a children’s study lounge. Currently, children staying at Interim Place do their homework at the kitchen tables, not a situation conducive to good study habits.  

6.                  Only MREB Members can post their daily and weekend ‘Open Houses’. This popular site allows client’s properties to be advertised on MREB’s web site – www.mreb.ca. The public can simply highlight the areas in which they are interested and print the information. Potential purchasers can:
